Founded in 1962 as a father & son Specialty Automotive business, our foundation has been one based on building trust, providing excellent value and quality service.

My name is Butch Garrison and I am honored to share with you a brief introduction about me, my passion for automobiles, and my business.

Back in the early days, my father, Doug Garrison, an aircraft machinist by trade, opened an engine building shop, with a reputation for building some of the fastest street and strip 55 – 57 Chevys in the eastern Virginia & North Carolina region. His very successful efforts yielded multiple ¼ mile records and the National Record for 92 days for what was known as the “modified production class”. At a very early age, I was right beside my dad, as he shared his mechanical skills, teaching me everything from adjusting Rochester Fuel Injection systems, to performance building small block 283, 301 and 327 Chevys. As we grew older our passion expanded to include paint and body work eventually leading to total restorations. At last count, we have restored over 170 collector automobiles and owned 281, ranging from the earliest American Musclecars, to European Sports and Exotic Motorcars.

It seems the passion for cars, motors, motorcycles & boats runs deep within as it, along with a little hard work, funded my journey to earn a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, along with a globally recognized Black Belt certificate, for lean manufacturing & six sigma quality.
